We worked on the MyFitnessPal Android app while the company was still private and growing fast, helping engineer the experience that put nutrition tracking in millions of pockets. Health apps live or die on daily habit; the app had to be fast, reliable, and effortless enough to open every single meal.
That product became one of the most-loved fitness apps on Android — and in 2015, Under Armour acquired MyFitnessPal for hundreds of millions of dollars, folding it into its connected-fitness family. The app we helped build was at the center of that outcome.
