Atlantic Records is one of the most influential labels in music history — and behind the artists is an operation with real logistics problems. Touring is one of the biggest: routing shows across cities, dates, and venues is a puzzle that used to live in spreadsheets and phone calls.
Agilevent’s Donn Felker built Atlantic’s first tour routing application — software that turned tour planning into a system. It worked well enough that it didn’t stay internal: the application went on to be used for multiple clients across the music industry.
Alongside it, Donn created multimedia websites for various Atlantic artists — the front-end, fan-facing web presence for acts whose audiences expected more than a static page.
